The challenge
JT Dove operates a mix of site types — larger half-hourly (HH) metered sites alongside smaller office and branch locations. Left separate, the small sites buy on weak, standard terms while the large sites are negotiated in isolation, so the group never realises the buying power its combined volume represents.
Our approach
We brought the larger HH sites and the smaller office sites into the same procurement framework through a wholesale energy buying group. Pooling the different site types meant the whole portfolio benefited from wholesale-level pricing structures — including the smaller sites that would never have accessed those terms on their own.
The result
Combining the sites delivered a 15% saving — around £53,000 — through procurement efficiencies the group couldn’t have reached buying site by site.
“I found their energy market expertise very useful and I would fully recommend ENERGYbubble’s methodology and expertise to other similar business energy users.”
Mix of large and small sites?
A buying group lets your small sites borrow the buying power of your large ones.
